John acquired his skills in BBC World Service; nurtured and expanded them at BBC Television Centre; turned them to good advantage as a freelance, fronting programmes on national and regional TV and radio. Founded JMS in 1983 (it stands for John Mountford Studios!) began producing shed-loads of radio commercials and corporate TV - and the legend was born.
