Midlands and North West Electrical specialist Apollo 2000 was recently, like so many other retailers, getting perilously close to folding. Which is when successful Electrical chain Hughes spotted the potential Apollo 2000 still offered, if Hughes could only add its increased buying-power, and its merchandising and marketing expertise. The merger went ahead, and the combined group now numbers 41 stores. The re-launch of the Apollo brand is rolling-out courtesy of Ad Agency Taylormade Design Limited, with production by JMS, across ITV1 Granada and Central West.
