D2C Marketing of an Exclusive Food and Wine Package Using an Affordable Late-Summer DRTV Campaign
Italian food and drink brand Giordano Wines had enjoyed success in direct to consumer sales with press advertising, via their D2C marketing agency Accent Direct. Giordano Wines wanted to expand on the success of their D2C marketing with a trial DRTV campaign in the UK. Giordano offered consumers a direct-to-doorstep package offer of eight wines, five foods, and twelve ceramic dishes – prompting viewers to call a freephone number, or visit a D2C e-commerce landing page on the Giordano Wines website.
Media agency McMedia and Norwich-based DRTV Production Company JMS Group worked together to create a colourful 30-second spot, narrated by an Italian voice, to air during the late Summer.
